Actor, Kevin Hart Surprises 18 Students With College Scholarships Worth Of $600k

Mainstream comic and performing actor, Kevin Hart has amazed 18 HBCU undergrads with $600,000 worth of Scholarships at a supper the previous evening.

As indicated by a public statement, the entertainer amazed the understudies amid a United Negro College Fund supper.

Kevin united with UNCF and KIPP Knowledge Is Power Program to introduce his $600,000 blessing which went to meriting understudies in view of their own and scholastic achievements.

The grant beneficiaries included KIPP understudies from 11 generally dark schools and colleges, including Morehouse College, Spelman College, Fisk University, Dillard University and Xavier University.

“I am living proof that if you put your mind to something you can not only achieve it, but you can go above and beyond the expectations of what you thought that you could do. After you open one door, the crazy thing is you find out that there are seven more doors that you could open,” Hart said. “Education is that first door. breeze through this!

“This is the opportunity of a lifetime breeze through it! When you get to that next door…breeze through that. Success is what you want it to be,” he added. “At the end of the day, we are what we want to be. Do not allow others to hold you back.”
