Babajide Sanwo-Olu defeats Akinwunmi Ambode at Ikeja Alausa

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, a governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), defeated Akinwunmi Ambode, governor of the state, at ward c, Alausa, Ikeja, on Tuesday. Olanrewaju Yahaya, the electoral officer of
announced that Sanwo-Olu polled 960 votes ahead of the governor who secured just 4 votes.
Bola Tinubu arrives Alausa ward c to cast his votes. Tinubu declared: “I brought Ambode to the people. He was a civil servant under me. He performed well as a civil servant. After courses at Havard, I introduced him to the people and they accepted. So if the people say they do not want you anymore, so be it.
