SARS operative shatters Ogun teacher’s leg with bullet

A government worker in Ogun State, Ola Hammed, has shouted out for equity after his left foot was broken by a shot purportedly fired by an agent of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad. SARS joined to the state police charge.

Hammed said the policeman was among a group of SARS agents assaulted by a few inhabitants in the Ibara, Abeokuta zone of the state, after a man was brutalized for videoing a fight including the cops.

He claimed that the furious policemen opened discharge on individuals, including that commuters and traderd alike fled the zone to abstain from being hit by stray shots.

The victim said one of the policemen confronted him and blamed him for being among the horde.

The Physics instructor said he had denied the charge when the cop all of a sudden terminated at his leg.

Hammed, who posted his experience on his internet based life page including photos of his shot leg, said the police experts had declined to examine the occurrence or capture the policeman.

He stated, “My difficulty in the hands of the Federal SARS men occurred on June 12, 2018. A battle ejected from a contention between a man and a FSARS group positioned under the Ibara Bridge, Abeokuta.

“The episode, which went on for quite a long time, drew the consideration of numerous bystanders and okada riders. At a point, one of the SARS officers recognized a person among the group taking a video scope of the episode. He moved toward the person and began pounding him.

“The disappointed group kicked irate and off tossing stones at the SARS agents. The following thing we heard was that they (FSARS) opened fire, shooting consistently. They went for individuals with the expectation to execute.

“In spite of the fact that a few people were miles from the scene of the episode, we as a whole took to our foot rear areas, running for our lives due to stray shots.

“One of them (cops) confronted me. I revealed to him that I didn’t have anything to do with the stoning. I was stating that and moving far from him. He stated, ‘I will ruin your leg,’ and the following I heard was a discharge.”

He said he found that he had been hit by a projectile in the left foot, adding that he was raced to a private healing center, from where he was alluded to a general doctor’s facility in the territory.

Hammed said he was not took care of on time in light of the fact that the wellbeing laborers asked for a police answer to initiate treatment.

The victim said since the episode, he had been in torment as he couldn’t rest during the evening.

“I can scarcely jump on the other leg. I can’t rest during the evening because of the agonies I experience, while the individual that executed this cruel demonstration is out there in the solace of his home,” he included.

The administration specialist said the SARS agents abused their weapons and should have been authorized.

He reviewed that a couple of days after he was shot, the policemen purportedly attacked another Ogun people group to disturb a program which prompted the passing of one Awilo.

“I need the Ogun State Government to act quick on the issue before the agents wreaked more devastation on pure and helpless residents. The direct and activities of the SARS men have sent numerous Nigerians to their initial graves,” he said.

Hammed presently couldn’t seem to react to a message from our reporter sent to his Facebook page as of the season of documenting this report.

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, couldn’t be gone after remark as his line was turned off.

He presently couldn’t seem to react to an instant message sent to his line as of press time.
