A 25-year-old lady, Faith Nyokabi, was on Tuesday captured in Thika town, Kenya for supposedly requesting that her better half pay before breastfeeding their baby.
Nyokabi supposedly abandoned her four-month-old infant at her wedding home in Kiganjo Estate over seven days back and declined to return without accepting Ksh.100,000 ($995) in real money from her better half, Charles Kiiri, reports Citizen TV Kenya.
As indicated by the 36-year-old Kirii, an easygoing worker, he was educated on August 1, 2018, that his better half had taken off and gone out.
He supposedly hurried home and found the child under the care of neighbors. Kiiri begged Nyokabi to return home to breastfeed her child yet she revealed to him that her mom had taken her to a nearby doctor’s facility where she had been infused with a medication that probably dried out her drain supply.
Nyokabi disclosed to her significant other, she wouldn’t return home except if he gave her the cash.
The baffled spouse announced the issue to the Thika Children’s Offices and was alluded to Murang’a Children’s Offices.
Kiiri said the principle issue between the two was occasioned by his relative whom he blamed for making successive money related requests.
As indicated by Thika Children’s Officer Lina Mwangi, the lady will be accused of youngster disregard and denying a kid insurance and care in opposition to the Children’s Act.
Mwangi exhorted the dad to search for a brief parental figure to take care of the baby under his supervision as the court handles the issue.
